A workshop with Norwegian saxophonist Frode Gjerstad
Improvisation workshop with: Frode Gjerstad has for many years been the most dedicated free jazz player in Norway, having established musical relationships with some of the best European, African and AmericanÊimprovisers such as William Parker, Hamid Drake, Barry Guy, Louis Moholo, Derek Bailey, and Peter Brotzmann. This trio plays high energy improvised music. The connection to jazz and European free improvsation is evident although it isn't bounded by the traditions of either. |
