The duo will showcase some of the fruits of their collaboration which began by preparing Wolff's "For Violinist and Pianist" on last spring's "New York School" program. This evening will feature "Profondo Rosso" (live premiere) by Brent Fariss and a new work by Travis Weller. Also on the program is a live soundtrack to a film by Chris Immel which will be projected during the performance.

Chris Immel is a tinkerer, composer, experimental filmmaker and pianist who is currently preoccupied with "music as architecture." Travis Weller is a composer, improvisor and violinist based in Austin. He writes for and performs with Gates Ensemble, Imbroglio String Quartet, Cinders, Golden Hornet Project, and New Music Co-op.
